Steve's Poems

1) Zorba the Greek Response   Zorba the Greek: Is Zorba the Weak It seems I'm just not in the mood   Not enough sleep Not enough food I grit my teeth So as not to be rude Muted my site The black and the white I come to be inspire to write You and your movie ruined my night.     2) Poem about an abstract term.   Space Time Expedition   Tucked away in our subconscious is a journey through space. To explore and discover nags at the human race. On a long trip that Spans time through the infinite expanse.   Waiting in the atmosphere for our reserve tanks to fill with hydrogen. Out the windows we drink in the passing scene of space pods igniting and jumping to hyper speed. We engage the reactor core with scenes of children waving from the porthole windows of another vessel, seeing each others faces through inversely relative space, divided into frames in witch measurements are skewed like a lens; we accelerate twisting time and fraying the fabric of space, suspended in frozen motion.   Entire solar systems pass our ship in an instant leaving a wake in space time like a speed boat cutting through a calm lake. The ripples can be seen in the night sky on planets we took precautions to avoid colliding with while we were plotting our course through the universe. We pass planets faster than can be detected but the radio active antimatter rolls like oil on water. Controlled hydrogen produces exponentially larger and larger nuclear explosions, when half light speed is achieved the engine must be shut down. Vibrant pink and gold smoke is pouring from our ungodly power plant, of row upon row of reactor core converters, of fusion control, and antimatter storage tanks of hellfire and Godspeed.     3) Journey into an ordinary object.   Green Leaf Exposed   Rabbits eat and Rabbits crap Spreading life in the cabbage patch Growing roots and pushing through the earth Seeds sprout leaves and prepare to give birth             4) My earthy wounds and what I do to heal them.   Mighty Morphing' Higher Power Ranger Do I really love God's commands more than my own judgment and conscience? How can I say yes to temptations while trying to avoid the wrong path? If I'm honest I have to admit that I love my own way, and follow it more than I rely on the text in the bible for guidance. The philosophy that Jesus preached dose ring true in the bell towers of my mind and sole. Living righteously and not passing judgment on my fellow man are tenants that guide my journey.   5) Pick a place and describe it creatively. The Tech Room The persistent hum of digital electricity fills the air like a windless fog on a motionless lake. Divinized into cubicles that separate and squeeze our humanity Confined to my work station My place in the work world is no larger than the minimum space require for me and the computer. The computer, my external brain that is connected to the internet and to all the information I want about everything ever.
